young and unrestrained in glee, pink and warm from your bath; naked as the day you were born. too young to be inhibited, solar ignited; pressed against the window pane by the golden lusciousness of the setting sun.
fingers tracking motes of dust through the quadrants of the room, peals of delight trembling dogs and crystal; eyes wide in wonder at all the nameless world.
child, you are love and life personified, casting a look over your shoulder like an anchor, as you are embraced by the light.
* I would have loved to include the photo that inspired this one, but who knows where it would end up?
