Started with running
Slowed to walking
Now I am barely crawling
Started with seeing
Slowed to confusion
Now I am overwhelmingly lost
Started with excitement
Slowed to weariness
Now I am utterly exhausted
I can see no oasis over these sand dunes.

Well constructed, universal message - who hasn/'/t felt this way, even if its just short-term? I/'/m going through degrees of this with a new appointment, and that oasis is more mirage then cool respite at this point.
