Walk through the fire with me
Through this perilous sea
Stand by me
When people throw knives that can/'/t be seen
Give me your hand, it/'/s all I need
I won/'/t be afraid, I won/'/t heed
I need the warmth that you provide
I won/'/t stand still, I won/'/t hide
When I/'/m beat down, at my wits end
You/'/ll be behind me, my only friend
You/'/ll protect me, you/'/ll be my shield
When people hold up the knives they wield.
A small child; me, I have sinned
I/'/m telling you that I love you, let/'/s begin
Take my hand, let your love shine on thee
I/'/m asking You, please stand by me.
