One minute youre here
And the next youre gone
You say you love me
But then you hurt me
I want you to love me
And for you to tell me everyday
I know Im not perfect
I know Ive messed up
But Ive never stopped trying
And Ive never given up
I want you to love me
And to never run away
You can push me around
You can yell all you want
For the hope that you see
That I have not given up
I want you to love me
And beg me to stay
I followed your rules
I respected your space
Ill always love you
Despite all the pain
I want you to love me
No matter what has been done
Ill push through the pain
And Ill fight through the night
For Im not afraid
Because God is my light
I want you to love me
I pray that everyday
How are you fine
How is this true
For I am your child
And you gave me life

The last stanza puts a spin on this write.
Wow, it is sad but at the same time a thing of beauty. Excellent poem.
