Girl there/'/s no need to be so weary
lay down with me already
rest your pretty head
share the comfort of my bed
I/'/ve heard you out and
listened to every word you said
I understand, I understand
Girl release your worries
you can put them here to sleep
I/'/ve heard your wish and promises
your secrets I will keep
just lay with me forever
dreaming in the deep
I know you and I understand
just want to let you know
I/'/ll walk with you hand in hand
wherever we may go
through hailing rain or desert sand
any storm or even snow
I promise you I/'/ll take your hand
and never let it go!
