Your self worth is dependent on the answer to that question because you have allowed your value (or worth of self) to be secondary to what this other person feel for you rather than placing your value in ALICE, without the need to have outside validation.
Alice, my dear, I care for you and want you to be as happy as Alice can be. The first step to personal happiness is not letting that happiness be subject to ANYONE/'/S opinion or thought of YOU.
I dig your poetry and treasure your comments. It is obvious to me you are a unique and special person, in the best sense of the words. I see it, OTHERS here see it. YOU need to see it.
Your friend,
Invierno |

I see the best in others; I root around to find their gifts --but I do not do that for myself!
Women cannot accept compliments. Women buy gifts for others. We are nurturers, care GIVERS and peacemakers. Everything is outward.
Makes sense that our value would come from outside ourselves too--but it never does.
Be to yourself what you are to a stranger: a friend, a mentor, a coach, a healer. Take time to stop vacuuming up others pain so you can enjoy the wonderful person you are in that quiet place inside.
Write about what you find. It will be powerful, and as beautiful as the writer. And you will be able to help others by teaching them to stand on their own, as you are doing this moment. The mirror never lies. softerware |

Love is a two sided street... Care enough to take care of yourself first before looking for another/'/s affection.
Great advice above!
