Lost In A World Of Alice White

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Monday, 27th March 2017 @ 09:37:13 AM in AEST
Topic: Tributes

Child of the blight
Soon to be
Satan/'/s delight
Alice White
Marauder of flight
From a world deemed
Not quite right
Born of a red and gold sky at night
J.D. called from a field of rye
Later I learned
He too had died
Words were delivered by a Mister Merry
To a southbound ferry
Oh howbizarre, they traveled so far
Scritti Politti were the words
Written on the city walls
Before they all took the fall
Dismissed by a world amiss
A voice cried out from the sky
Heard only by you and I
Reared its ugly head and demanded from within
Wait and listen for the dead
Until then, remain silent
And listen to Led
When she was seven
A blue oyster of the occult
Showed her
A stairway to heaven.

oh many things
like the zep and, yet the blue oyster, could have
utilized a bit more cow bell,
but the rest, come on now, J.D. where is the rest
in peace, the thing J.D. could not tell
That lively thing, the mystical setting
The Alice in the bizarre,
The point you were making in your well done beautiful poem could be said for all of us here on this board
but Alice whom we all love
leaves her grace beside the pond
I dunno a reflection so I was once hiking
in rocky mtn national park and happened upon
this out of the way place where there was this perfect pond completely filled with lily pads then I took
a short hike to the left and there it was
intense magical sky surrounded below by magical earth

Peace!

The third time baby that I came to you
Oh oh oh I knew
The last time baby that I came to you
Oh how your flesh and blood
Became the word xxx
Loved this song , never really noticed the lyrics that much at the time , third times a charm , x
