the way it works out sometimes is like an abandoned car on route 304 littered with dirty deserted objects and a graveyard of creatures the image is unsettling the car a landmark signaling, youve gone too far ive looked for ways around finding myself here here in something so abandoned, broken unraveling beneath the rubble awaiting new days in your confessions knees buckling in a world where you are at the center of it all, i am pulled to the ground the way it works out sometimes is me, a woman the image of a vessel monument to the lost, home to dirty derelict things a landmark signaling, this is where love comes to die

this is an amazing and fascinating poem!
I really really like the title, throwback thursday;
then you describe it as by cathartic on thursday.
then you describe a scene - which took my breath away!
it/'/s funny how we measure reality some days, sort of,
sort of lost, then a description out of nowhere brings you back in.
this really is sound poetry, sound writing!
Well done!
Peace! |
