A Bully Is Blind

Contributed by waynster on Wednesday, 5th April 2017 @ 06:03:54 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Oblivious is the soul
when controlled by a weak body and mind
Allowing torture by others
is something youll find

No strength or courage
remaining silent through it all
Not giving any signs
of a suicidal protocol

People can be aweful
as long as it makes them feel inferior
They see a person in which they taunt
but they cant see the interior

A bully can be anywhere
not just a teen in school
It is usually a person who thinks they are better
or just someone trying to look really cool

They can be in a work place
or just someone on the street
It does not matter where they are from
they are all blind to their very own deceit

Oblivious is a soul
when always tortured and living in pain
A person can only feel trapped for so long
until they feel there is nothing in this life to gain

Severe pain can cause silence
when it dwells deep inside
The feeling is extremely horrible
eventually there is no place to hide

It is so very sad
when someone takes their own life on any given day
It is sad that people have to be so cruel
and lock another person up in a cell, in their own pathetic way

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
