dancing on my own

Contributed by ming on Wednesday, 12th April 2017 @ 06:21:04 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

body loosens
beneath my pen

vertigo floods
the mind

touch the bottom
of madness

where there are no doors
so off we twirl

dragging world behind
while sky darkens

and time rips away.

this reminds me of focusing on a specific
subject matter especially when you are confused or
upset in someway
A quiet focus / or as I just heard about, "A quiet passion" a biopic about Emily Dickinson.
I recently watched part of a PBS American Experience
documentary regarding WWI where they tell of the poet Alan Seeger who was one of the first Americans to volunteer in the French Foreign Legion - they recite his
poem, "I have a rendezvous with death", which is quite beautiful.
There/'/s something in the sorrow/'/s, something in the
madness, something in all time, that repeats

Great poem once again Ming!

Peace!

Read it again...I have a habit of auto-clicking on anything /'/Ming/'/.

My second read brought to mind Rumi. I should think you know of who I speak. If not, you will want to.
