I don't even have a gas oven

Topic: sarcasticpoetry

I back away from doors that open
Not knowing if its trick or treat
I think your a witch words I/'/ve often heard spoken
As if on repeat
On repeat till I speak
I/'/m not in a coven
I don/'/t even have a gas oven
I think that I/'/m much more
Like Sylvia Plath
Jewish or not
Jumping jack flash
Frying pan calling kettle black
Atcha Hitlers its a
gas gas gas
Black magik black mass
Gas mask
I lost my shoe at the ball
Try n make it fit
Your ugly feet
Too big too small
Call me a witch
Ur another kind of fool

A thread of sanity is in this. I need to re-read it several times. You always surprise me with your references...in a pleasant way.

I get a little thrill when I see a poem with your name; it/'/s like a present that I have no idea what/'/s inside.

Mike said it best. We get a surprise with every poem. Sort of like a prize in your cereal or cracker jacks... Lovely!!!!
