Forager and thief of mine; Come to steal a meal. In the garden by the vine; Little mouse revealed.
Run then stop; whiskers shiver; Patent nose begins to quiver. Eyes that shine. Hide and Seek; I the mighty; you the weak.
Your life so quick to come and go; Mine endless to compare; Tiny creature, whys this so? Its dreadfully unfair! Its innocence that makes you strong; Tis knowledge made me weak; For you know not youll soon be gone; And I your secret keep.

Awesome dip into the metaphysical pond! And done so at your usual high bar. I very much like this.
Until reading this poem, I never even considered the /'/big gip/'/ of such a short life to the infinite....thanks. lol

They breed and grow so fast, though, there`s always mice a plenty.
Does mankind really know their fate?
Awesome poem!!! |

Ah, such a good day for beauty, and I/'/m glad you could be part of it! :)
//The rhythm and flow, the dance that bestows
Imagination then flows, and my world is let go//
I thought something to myself the other day. We know our fate... or do we?
//We understand it/'/s a fact that we will come to perish, yet even though this, most of our lives we shan/'/t cherish
Maybe we have to convince ourselves of a false end
So that living our lives, becomes more than pretend// |
