Sleepy Sun, taking a rest this morn; this tops y-turvy world allows your hiding above a cloudy blanket, safe and warm.
Not without song, sweet and long drawn; a symphony all on earth in one great hall, a tenth the girth of any place, of any dawn.

This? This is really nice. Storms used to amaze me...well, they still do, really. But there`s an annoyance within me now because I//'//m always curious what damage happened this time.
Thank you for an enjoyable read.

Something about that safe and warm line really feels good in reading it.
I want to add "of" in the tenth part, because it feels like it carries a waltzish flow I/'/m feeling right now, and that first line is beautiful enough to match it :)
The closing line I feel could have a more picturesque description like the rest, so that it makes it feel less "temporary" and immortalize this moment with the write :)
All in all a great write my friend! :D |

A lovely reminder of where we stand in the universe. Reminds me of how very small and unnecessary to the grand scope of the planet any of us are.
The magnificent cosmos goes on without us, and for the sake of our children--thank goodness!
My favorite vision here is the first paragraph! Almost a cartoon image of the sun staying in bed late under layers of clouds! It has inspired me to get my down quilt out and take a nap! ZZZzz!
