CONTINUE TO SHIFT

Contributed by hray42 on Saturday, 29th April 2017 @ 03:41:59 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

there is a lining between the day and the night
where the light fades into the darkness
i close my eyes, and i hold them tight
i wish for more moments that are like this

a point of reference is this line
where can be seen the whitest of blues
a composite expression perceived as divine
a presage in the form of these wondrous hues

my eyes see far, and so i do see
i can sense that the weather is changing
Nature is now opening herself up to me
a planet of summer she is arranging

i will not look back at an old yesterday
i will instead look toward another new gift
as we revolve in space, and we all dance away
so does our world continue to shift...
