Flowers made of toilet paper; Swirling chips of light; Awkward social caper; Down in the gym tonight.
You had to pick a partner; From way across the floor! The lowered light and hampered sight; Threw caution to the fore.
What we see we may not get; Is what some learned from dances; As distance melts we might regret; Our premature advances!! The photos tell the truth you know; Moms albums take us back; We all blame the photographer; For attributes we lack!
Whether in a spangled ball gown; Or in a crisp tuxedo; Most of us look best Ive found; When viewed, from say, Toledo.

Unless we live in Toledo. 😎
Thank you for the smiles and chuckle. Your poetry is always a treat for us mere mortals. |

This is great Jaye.
Funny I was just organizing some of my mom/'/s pictures yesterday so this strikes a cord.
Exactly what you wrote here. I never liked personal pictures but hey its just life/'/s struggle.
I enjoyed it!!! |
