Its only money; just a tool. Passed around from fool to fool.
Dollar, dime, nickle, penny; best to have, than not have any!
Tucked away in purse or wallet; doesnt matter whatcha call it--
Dirty paper, bacon, chits; wampum, dough, whatever fits!
Call it cabbage, clams or stash;
Chump change, chits, or good old cash!
Benjamins, or sawbucks, and;
Smackers, greenbacks, or a grand!
Bank or bread, chips or fin;
It pays to have simoleons!
C-notes, moola, gotta wad?
Those dead presidents our gods!
Loot or scratch, and in between;
Tender, jack or simply green.
The stuff wears out, but not before; we turn around and print some more!
Those who make successful fakes; wind up making license plates!
Your bankroll tells you where you live;
How you tip and what you give;
Who you work for; what you drive;
What you wear, and how you thrive!
Save or spend, bequeath or leave it;
Day will come when you wont need it.
Choose with caution what to reap;
Its love alone we get to keep.

Wonderful as the norm. You had to really think to pull up all of those slang terms for money....! A bunch of wisdom in that bottom half for sure.

| Researching the jargon for $ is one thing, molding and shaping the terms into a witty well structured poem is a task you pulled off smoothly. This poem is worth many simoleons but the love of it is greater. |
