Grief

You and me Always Used to be together I naively hoped it would be Forever You don/'/t know When I nearly died I had seen you Break down and cry You grabbed my hand And bid me A tearful goodbye Through your prayers I survived You later took me in And put me on the road to mend A few short months later Your life came to A tragic end I hope you never know What you put Us through Cause it really hurts

It is so hard to lose parents. Their leaving weakens our source of strength and confidence. As you say, we all hope they are here forever. When they go we can no longer be children.
All we can do is trust that it will be all right -- for all of us.
My mom was ready to go. I wasn/'/t ready to let her.
How selfish.
Thank you James for helping us cope by sharing with us. Your words come from the heart.

So sorry for your loss, Jimmy.
Very heartfelt. I was sort of confused by the ending though.
Thank you,
