Manchester
In the eighties, I loved you Travelling to your city I smiled Shopping and enjoying your hospitality Manchester I loved you
Going to watch my favourite bands Being independent, becoming a man Joining fellow fans and celebrating Our shared experience of live music Manchester you will always be in my heart
Going there on my birthday with friends Clubbing and dancing till dawn This is why many come to this city One of the Northwest/'/s gems
Do not let fools stop you from being unique My Manchester our prayers are with you We are all standing strong with you in your hour of need

Beautiful my friend.
Way back in the 80/'/s i did a bunch of business in Manchester myself. It was a great experience up until the mid nineties.
Thank you for this wonderful poem. |

This world is currently full of a sickness, called terrorism.
Manchester was just an innocent victim of that, no doubt there will sadly be more.
