Where angels fear to tread

Contributed by alicewhite on Friday, 26th May 2017 @ 04:07:43 PM in AEST
Topic: anguished

Where once there was a soul
There is now nothing more than an empty dark void black hole

I have swallowed all goodness with my insanity
And replaced it with a venom so foul as to permeate every fiber of my reality
It is of my very own creation
And I suffocate on its fumes with loss , longing
And utter indignation.

I like this Alice. I remember feeling the same. I wrote a poem in way of comment. It/'/s two above this one on the board.

funny how things come at a person
one by one all in a seemingly simple line
"there/'/s a bluebird in my heart that wants to get out",
but I am too tough for him, I say, stay in there, I am not going to let anybody see you"

Reminds me of my favorite writer

Charlie Bukowski.

Peace!

Tremendous angst and beautifully written.
It must be in the air. But do not despair, you are not alone. I took four months to help my mother recover from a serious illness only to see her go back to the hospital again today. They say God only gives you what you can handle. I think God has more faith in me than I do.

God bless you....

Direct and to the point, carried along by its raw display of emotion.
Life is complicated and crazy, we have to try and get through it the best way we can!!

The darkness lives within you, for I have enjoyed the read.

//Did you drink the entire bottle? 🙂

I have pondered if the soul can actually be killed. I guess that started from watching Angel or some other TV show.

I/'/m more of a happy drunk, except for the time I almost drowned. Maybe smoke pot instead???

Remember there are always people that like you and love you. Yes, they/'/re different...like and love. There are those that are amazed by you. One of them is this dude.

This poem, whether rooted in reality or rooted in fiction...or both, is truly an artful splendor. You are truly a unique writer and it/'/s great you don/'/t deal in the cliché.

Thank you.

// Poop, once again I neglected to say the title caught my attention. It, in itself, inspires thoughts in me to possibly write out something about "where angels fear to tread."

Thank you.
