Lost love themes; what a rush! Found love story; not so much.
We prefer to storm and cuss; Than gush of love and other mush.
Sadly, I am of the latter; Writing poems of little matter.
Should you covet grief and rage; Pray, make haste, and turn the page!

I wished I could be like you
- the old people say that to the young kids
if in they are as old people, spry enough
to only wish what they once were
In seeing in themselves what still is
for the very first time.
we cover up the tracks in a lie
like kids who don/'/t see just what is before
our eye. It is amazingly new, the less than perfect
thoughts never had to pretend.
You are as close to perfect as there ever were
Softerware / well sure, that/'/s easy for a fool like me to believe
Peace! |

If it didn/'/t matter you wouldn/'/t waste time writing about it. This poem sort of locked me up. That doesn/'/t happen very often and it is a good sign too! |
