You cant get too close to be Nobodys ever ridden me Cannot be no friend or foe But I liven you when things get low Wandering the grey-wet sky Bolts of thunder ringing by
No one can ever harness me Its no saying, sport or simile I can be subtle with my sonic sound When tested I can crack the ground Following the blazing end To create is why we descend
You hear, you see but cannot touch The rule of nature is as such

I can only echo your sentiment, there is something awe inspiring about a storm.
I remember watching them through the window as a child, counting the seconds between that flash of lightning and the accompanying rumble of thunder.
Took me right back
