My Love, My Love

Contributed by invierno on Friday, 30th June 2017 @ 11:26:27 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

My love.my love
my heart is gone with you.
One last dance for all our life
before your death comes true.

My dear.my dear
my heart I thought nothing could break,
is now in splinters, cindered
since death for you has come to take.

My life.my life.
So blessed beyond all blessings,
my dear.my love..
without you what am I?

My heart today echoes this same feeling.
But it/'/s worse in that I believe it to be my fault.

I love the halting, pausing rhythm of this! Each verse begins with a swinging door that sweeps us into the story again, and starts over!
Written with affection.
How lovely to tell someone you love them while they are still here to hear it!
May your heart be as dedicated as your poems!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
