I messed up
I let fear get the best of me
Tear me up and rip me apart
I believed I could keep you safe
Prevent you from harm
Yet I hurt you with those same two arms
This feeling without you...
It/'/s empty, cold, bleak and tragic
Everything I was before you
I feel like the earth was pulled from under my feet
Like I/'/m falling, not knowing where I/'/m going to land
I pray to God you/'/ll come catch me
Save me from this sinking helpless feeling
I don/'/t know what/'/s awaiting this fall
But I ask you please don/'/t let me find out
