Fierce hunter in the dark; Armed and well disguised; Carefully was marked; By a thousand unseen eyes
Tiny creatures filled with fear; Predators that crouched; Scavengers that lingered near; While he stalked about.
They found his gun and hat; And little more than that. Legends say he lost his way; And wandered off the path.
The hunter was the prey And every creature paid; Their deep respect; Left not a speck; And ate him clean away.

A true testament of what will happen once we leave this world. Although this could very well describe the "living" world around us that we journey thru daily and how if we are not careful and lose our way that the world can pick away at us mentally, spiritually and physically until there is nothing left. Another great piece my friend and always a pleasure to read.
