Accidents Happen

Contributed by xHeathenx on Tuesday, 11th July 2017 @ 01:44:15 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Adventure called the soul
Onto a path of a destined toll
Legs forcing and propelling
To an eager heart/'/s compelling

Hastily arriving upon an end
/'/Neath a golem/'/s rubber tread
Stricken by all/'/s surprise
Greeted by an untime demise

Quiet timid ankle-biter
You were a lover not a fighter
My throat clings now tighter
May the stars burn one shade brighter

Your sincerity is deeply felt, well expressed and shared by all of us. When a living thing dies, we are all diminished by its passing.
Were we all as loyal and unassuming as dogs, what a world we would have to share and enjoy.

A clever reminder that we are all just moments in time, we live out our lives and then fall to dust.
If you can leave a memory then you are never truly gone
That/'/s how I think of things anyway

Steve
