Million dollar mansions and private jets, the word of God is as fruitful as it gets,
An inspirational smile followed by a serpents tongue, twisted verses and profitable outcomes,
The words of faith that lead the blind, always aware of their bottom line,
Storytellers extraordinaire, how they suffered and the burdens they had to bare,
Armed with lies and deceit, wearing thousand dollar suits as you struggle to make ends meat,
Like Creflo Dollar anointing the money, he feeds your soul until the offering plate overflows,
Hundred thousand dollar Mercedes, Paula White, 2nd Kings 19:3, make your check payable to me,
Jimmy Swagger straying from the path, caught in sin with his own Mary Magdalene,
Old Benny Hinn, can make you walk again, a false prophet, but his healing still makes a profit,
To them the depth of your faith depends on the amount you donate,
TV deals, millions a year, the Televangelist racket is real,
Joel Osteen and that million dollar smile, with your donations he lives a lavish lifestyle,
Jim Baker worked closely with his secretary, with your mony he covered up his adultery,
TD Jakes is worth 150 million, custom suits and diamond rings, I wonder if Jesus needed material things,
JD Joshua and his anointed water, the amazing healing power of the almighty dollar,
John Hagee, leaving his wife for his secretary, another false prophet with failed prophecies,
These religious leaders are raping their flock, preaching that salvation can be bought,
Many have been exposed as frauds but yet are still consider messengers of God,
Open your eyes, the money you give only changes the life that they live,
They are wolves in sheeps clothing leading you to the slaughter, only focused on their next million dollars.

A brave and well researched write! This is a dangerous topic to address, much less in rhyme, and I applaud your emotional fortitude.
The few always get the publicity; the many work in silence. But we remember the notorious, the scandalous, the cheats.
It is a way to pat ourselves soundly on the back for not being anything like them! Like the villain in the soap opera, we hold ourselves in better esteem because of their chicanery.
A toast Kane, to the evangelists who are sincere, and get lost in the crowd. And a toast to you, for the courage to raise a doubtful eye.
An excellent tale, more true than fantasy and painted with the vision of the artist.
