I'M HOME IN MY ROOM:

Contributed by richard_campbell on Saturday, 15th July 2017 @ 12:57:50 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

AM HOME IN MY ROOM
JUST THINKING ABOUT LIFE.
AND WHAT COMING SOON,
YOU BETTER THINK TWICE.
NO ONE IS LISTENING.
NO ONE CAN SEE,
BUT THE SIGNS ARE THERE
JUST BEYOND REACH.
YES It/'/s CALM AND PEACEFULL NOW,
BUT HOW LONG WILL THIS SEASON LAST.
don/'/t EAGNOR WHEN YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF DRUMS
LAUGHTER WILL BE GONE JUST AS FAST AS A BOMB.
REPLACE WITH WAR AND TERROR BEYOND COMPREHENSION
ONLY THE JUSTIFIED WILL BE SINGING.
IS ANYONE LISTENING.

A good question. Listening is not hearing. But the message has a greater value. Those who have been through a war, value peace. Those who have lost friends, value friendship.
But we have never been without God.

yes, my man Richard, change is needed, tough to come by, change that means something good for all.
There are answers but we need a strong will.
Good book , "Draw Down", edited by Paul Hawkins.
Pick it up - it is I think partly a manifest for change that would benefit all of mankind.
Find something you care about, something you love, become an expert. You/'/ve already said a lot and it means a lot. Keep up with your writing man, as it helps you, it just also might help someone else.
Peace!

We all live on borrowed time unfortunately.
I guess you shouldn/'/t worry over things you can not control. But you have given us a stern warning what the future may bring.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
