Stumbling, falling, Deeper and deeper into this insanity. Hidden from sight to all, but himself. A cesspool of madness is residing in his head. It is wrapped in a veneer of normality. It keeps him functioning in this maniacal world he exists. "How can I escape?", He thinks. He twists his mind this way and that but can see no exit, No way of leaving or retreating. His mind gives in to pain, it shuts down, It closes off from the world and he becomes...an insane nothing!

tom waits penned
"A bloodshot in that burgundy sky",
in his song, "new coat of paint"
You say you retweeked
what is normal how would
one retweek normalcy,
or would it be insane
to even try - not something
I would ever ask someone
except maybe a president
now and then
I think you write well
and careful
nobody thinks nothing
is good comparatively
thinking that is
I won/t say you are ok
but I do hope you to be
I will say that insane rhymes
with twain and rain
two things I do myself love
Peace!

this was very well written but im not sure if i would consider it dark. Probably would fit more into Self Struggle or Anguish whether youre refrerring to yourself or not. Once again well written.
