The Human Mind

Contributed by Kane on Sunday, 23rd July 2017 @ 04:20:37 AM in AEST
Topic: Event

Within these eyes burns an evil so unbelievable only chaos is conceivable,
The end of days, the full power of Kane on display,
Bringing Gods to their knees, they band together in hopes to destroy me,
One by one I end their existence, piece by piece I dismantle their resistances,
One true God, the God-King Kane, the people of the world fear his name,

Like Jones-town, this world is my compound,
Sky grows dark, the sunlight fades, you look a bit thirsty, have some kool-aid,
When I speak you listen, you are only alive because I give permission,
The Messiah...I think not, like David Koresh I only plant the thought,
My wishes are your desires, welcome to Waco...the worlds largest bonfire,

With a little persuasion, they accepted castration,
The belief that aliens had control over their fate, 41 suicides in hopes to reach Heavens Gate,
The human mind so weak at times, with corrupted truth the flock falls in line,
The strongest voice commands the attention, like sheep humankind follow in complete admiration,
Giving up their own free will, they listen and believe that your every word is real,

Your lives are mine, the end of time, they do as they are told, their faith is blind,
Take a page from Charles Manson, I only make a statement, they complete the action,
In a time of peace and love, one gruesome night ends in pools of blood,
I promise them salvation and so they come, as smart as people are they are also pretty dumb,
They are lead to slaughter by the one they follow, taking they own lives with promise of salvation on the other side.

Heart & Soul
Kane

Your story is a reminder that there are no absolutes. To achieve closure, we must abdicate our freedom.
This eloquent tale brings home a chilling message: as long as there are more questions than answers, there will be those who rise to power by offering up certainty, who interpret the silence of the masses as consent.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
