When does the pain end
Where does hope begin
When does all the hurting stop
Look at where Ive been

Ive seen all the bad places
Where people lose their way
Ive seen the place your heart goes
When darkness comes to stay

Is this written in my stars
Will this be my fate
How much longer do I go
How much can I take

Always tried to do whats right
Sometimes lost my way
So I learn from my mistakes
And start another day

Another brave face to show the world
And say Im doing fine
And try to hide the pain inside
Will they see through my lies

Yet still I find a way to cope
Whatever comes my way
I find the strength from deep inside
From where its locked away

And then the walls are built again
Around my heart and soul
The tears are wiped away once more
And all thats lefts a hole

From where my trust and faith lived
Once more ripped away
And so I start the road again
Once more the game Ill play

To find the destination
Ive searched for, for so long
The happiness I need to feel
To give my heart its song
