Make Believe

Contributed by jamesstockdale on Friday, 1st September 2017 @ 08:53:58 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

So as not to grieve
Im living in a world
Of make believe
My reprieve is simply
Designed to deceive
Fully inclined
To deny my decline
Hold off tomorrow
Steal what I could borrow
In an attempt to end this sorrow

Our minds tend to sometimes create worlds inside our head to help us deal with whatever real life tends to throw at us. I understand 110% what you are saying here. Hope things get better for and if you ever need a friend to listen drop me a line anytime. Great piece :)

I guess you are someone I have always wanted
to know well, someone I always wanted to find a way to talk with, someone who could naturally untangle things,
someone tough, someone who always worked hard,
someone who cares much more deeply than most,
a person who would be easy to love for many
reasons
- and so anyway, I know, him, and that much is good
thing for the lot of us who know him, living or not, some of him stuck - and that aint no fiction baby!
Peace!

So many wise words here James. How do we fill the empty well? Very scary to go out and seek again..last thing we want to do...but the only way we can fill that void is with affection. The more we give it away, the more it keeps coming back.
The harder we try not to lose it; the faster it dies.
Love cannot be fearful. It takes courage.
You will find it when you are ready. You so deserve it.

// I have no clue why but this was reminiscent of some episodes I saw on the show called Scrubs where Colin Hay (lead singer/writer for Men At Work) was in it singing with his acoustic guitar.

Love it bro. haha, I used the term bro and there ain`t nuttin` you can do to stop it. 😈

Thank you, TimmyJimmy.
