When life knocks you down
Its hard to get back up
Its easier to just stay down
Just lying in that rut
Its easier to drift along
With life just sailing by
Not dealing with the choices
Not having to even try
Its easier to just give up
Not try to climb back out
Down in that dark uncertainty
With all the hurt and doubt
It takes a while to find yourself
And think youre good enough
To remember that you can and will
And pull yourself back up
Lifes not always easy
There will be ups and downs
But youre stronger than you know now
Push forward with both hands

if youre there yourself
then you know it is not at all
easy, very far from it
if you find you, then it becomes
hard not to fight, the you
that was born equipped is however
not so easy to find
many of us, me being one, learn this
"secret/'/, a little late in life
this was perfect - and to the point
yet still very much poetry

My favorite line is DOWN IN THAT DARK UNCERTAINTY WITH ALL THE HURT AND DOUBT..took me right back to the storm before the calm!
The title of this says it all and helps us remember that we have all the tools we need to cope, and most of them came with our original packaging!
An inspiring write, as is your style and gift to your readers. Optimism personified. You poetry is Hopetry!
