I have an intense fire in my soul
It alone can illuminate the dark
A passion in my heart
That sets me far apart
My only fear is accomplishing things I hold dear
Im getting older
Time has grown forever bolder
Soaring high as a kite just living my life
Wondering how long will the grains of sand flow
Through the hourglass
No one seems to know
Ive come too far
To be just another shooting star
Ready as ever for flight
Please God, dont let this star
Burn out tonight

Time does indeed grow forever bolder!
No one ever wished on their deathbed that they had spent more time at work, but for some of us, our work is our lifes love! I envy those folks!

How very true..I pray the same words but also understand that we are not guaranteed tomorrow therefore we just have to try and make the most of every day that we are given. I have to agree with Muppet that you are a passionate soul and that those are the most precious and hard to find. Great job my friend.

Wauw, this is amazing!
It almost made me share a tear.
I/'/ve been feeling quite lost somehow lately
and the time just rushing by is scary.
But yet again we have to let our
fire inside shine trough - as you wrote so beautifully!
