Look out Below

The dead mans name they learned was Morris;
Hikers found him in a forest.
In flippers and full wetsuit gear;
A mask, a snorkel, and a spear.

Every single bone was broken;
But a wetsuitwas he joking?
For Morris had been soundly smacked;
Crushed to death by fierce impact.

They found him clearing brush away;
From the wildfires there last May;
No foot prints led to where he lie;
As if hed fallen from the sky.
Into this clearing in the wood;
At last Forensics understood.

The fire had been extinguished by;
Fire helicopters flying by;
Dumping water from the ocean..
No one had the wildest notion;
That below those azure waves;
Morris chose to dive that day.

He might have easily survived;
Had he but marked his ocean dive.
The headlines said he got his wish;
Poor Morris made the bucket list.
