Do you not Every night hear them silently crying a quiet fear seeping through your walls can you no longer stand to hear no more
will you tonight try to call what is left of your courage no matter the cost to help the young souls who are lost in a sea of shame pain fear and dread who/'/s silent heart breaking tears continues to seep through your wall before the silence before the coroner calls

if you hear,
you are in it
you cannot look
the other way
I say, but it can
be a dilemma
that people do face
from day to day
you walk in the store
no one is there,
you wonder, you ring
the bell, still no one
comes out,
possibly something/'/s
wrong,
do you leave after waiting
a while, or do you investigate?
someone could easily steal
what is in the cash register,
or, perhaps, someone
already did
in a normal day,
your heart pounds
the world is like
that, one can never
rehearse, or, plan
for the unexpected,
the unwanted,
you hear, or you do not
hear what you should
this is a virtue poem
that you wrote drone
well done!
Peace! |
