can I hold your hand for your whole life slow right down time`s passing much too fast can I kiss your face for my whole life hear the sound of your voice there at last
can I be someone who`s always there just outside I miss you every day can I be someone who`ll always care on your side I`ll never go away
can I always make the time for you and will you keep on calling my name can I always do my best for you follow through keep on staying the same
can I still carry you up the rise run with you your laughter, my soundtrack can I not say so many goodbyes promise you I will always come back

beautiful! I would hope this captures
him, a bit of all of us.
I think it does. No, I am quite sure
it does.
Thank you for sharing it!
In the parlance of writing, where caring
means everything, this is Strong!
Peace! |

I totally relate to this. My wife left me in June.2002. My former step son was like a real son to me. I took him to karate lessons, doctor, etc. I really didn//'//t feel a difference between him and my biological daughter as far as kids are concerned. She let me see him for about a year but then cut off all ties. I was met with resistance and threats of violence, so not really sure brought all that /*****/ on.
I love your poem. That second stanza!!! :(
Sincerely hope it works out for you.
