You didn/'/t look like an angel!
When you sat behind,
Mum and I.
I felt your presence but never
Really knew why?
We danced in conversation
Laced with frivolity.
You and your lady.
Mum and I.
A random act of kindness,
shockwaves to my
Soul!
I reeled and reeled
With nose to the grindstone, little
Chance to compose.
Your kindness smacked
Me between the eyes!
You disappeared with
Your lady!
Just mum and I.
And the tears!
A stranger,
An Angel?
They have settled your bill!
You and your lady
Vanished.
Just mum and I

What an inspiring story. Beautifully told. I do believe in angels! I see them at work everyday, finding reasons to make people feel good about themselves.
A kind word can be a miracle to someone. YOU can be a stranger/'/s angel.
