"Do you believe in /'/God?/'/ She asked; Coyly hiding contempt, in her intrigue it was masked. I pulled a drag from my cigarette, projecting peppered plumes. "Define God for me, and there will be no answer to exhume." She was taken aback, surprised by syncopated speech. Unsatisfied, for another try she had made a reach. "Your faith is so frail, that you can/'/t dare to try?" "An unfair posit; the one that prepared yours to die." "Why is it then? That you won/'/t care to answer me?"
"Your logic denotes material phenomena, yet you ask eternity. Presuppositions kill mystery; speculation is not fact. Too much classification leaves dissent inable to retract. Long ago, ancient men worshipped their "god" as the sun, But when that came to pass, resentment- they had none. Questioning and doubt, are not detrimental for you to have, But to succumb to them in disbelief, your faith you will have staved.
"God is not some anecdote, a tale of a drunken fool. God is a path, no matter what disorder rule; No mere struggle, no ideal bout or fight, It/'/s a GPS whose planned route, changes at every light; Whimsied mood of musics, movement of the muse; Flightpath of dancers/'/ feet, in between the beat; Tone and nuaned glow of light, garnish to our sight; Metaphor wrapped in metaphor, similies and more; To speak of all these things, there/'/s no word fore."

I believe in God but probably not the way I am "supposed" to or in the traditional sense. Hell, there are scientists that believe there is a higher power.
This is really good, Mark!. Keep /'/em coming. |

I want to comment more than I am or will here. All I will say is that I am proud of you for addressing these issues. I see much confusion, and would compare you to the little boy that comes to the gates of a monastery with a head full of a million thoughts, all undistilled, but seeking answers. Continue, Mark.....continue. |

of all the things you cannot know,
God would be big.
God is beyond, perhaps also hidden within.
Is God the Sun, and all elements that make
up the Earth and stars which seem limitless?
If there is no God, would all be lost, not
worth the life any life?
Life itself and the environment that supports it is surely not human made.
Some claim that God has spoken to them personally.
Many have in their own hearts prayed or tried to
Speak to God, if for nothing else, to ask for calm.
A definition might be that of empathy, a comparative
contemplation with what one might consider to be a soul. But the soul, what is it, if it has not traversed
down a long pathway that included change
or reflection, or even doubt?
Kierkegaard on the question of God stated;
"I reason from existence, not towards existence."
John Locke/'/s proof was something like, I exist, something made me...
While David Hume contends that there must be empirical proof. Instead of relying on design,
Hume scrutinizes what things are all about. In this he suggests there is no need for God, the Earth and all it entails is finite, and imperfect.
One can easily see this through the study of human history, or the study of what came before, or perhaps an archaeological dig, a dinosaur bone.
Perhaps like the Buddhists suggest, nothing is fixed or permanent, and change is always possible. Gog is a concept like many things are concepts, that lead nowhere in themselves.
To me, it/'/s amazing, just to be alive and see the stars
on a clear night. If there is a God, it is Love, by definition, an empathy for others kind of love.
It doesn/'/t solve any mystery, however it can
create more in a positive sense.
Peace!
