Yellow mountain pines Bare fox grape vines The sky is dark and cloudy But the sun still shines On hallowed grounds Summer did retreat Falling victim to a winter`s defeat For me life shall go on While I anxiously await A new day, a new dawn

Oh, interesting idea for the change of seasons.
Never heard of fox vines though :o
Serves a good reminder that our changes in ourselves as we grow and develop as people can be just as impressive as those of the seasons :) |

Your writing always has a hopeful message. The rhythm of this makes it easy to read and sings its tune cleverly enough to dance.
You have summed up hope in the last line: WHILE I ANXIOUSLY AWAIT A NEW DAY, A NEW DAWN.
You have sent us to take a second look at the sunrise tomorrow and appreciate a new beginning.
