ITS EVERYONES RIGHT

Gday all, got a moment for me?
Just wanna talk, bout rights that should be.
Rights are for all, not a select few.
In this great land, they include me and you.

You maybe pale skinned, maybe dark,
You maybe a refugee, travelled far.
Maybe Youre religious or Atheist like me.
Maybe youre gay Or Straight as can be.

We all have our rights, our freedoms to express,
None have the right, to cause pain and distress.
Not one man here, nor woman can be
The cause of anothers, pain or misery.

So I ask you all, to stand for whats right,
Stand and protect, against all hatreds might.
Christians and Atheists, Muslims and more,
Lets stand together, and make a better world.

indeed! all people everywhere! Freedom for religion or if you do not believe in God, that/'/s perfectly okay too!
we are stripping the land, making it unfit to be used.
we are not being efficient, especially where it counts,
in the poorest countries that continue to get ripped off.
you know truth is important. I was at a law school yesterday on a Sat, watching the best young students
practice criminal law. The truth, there/'/s a reason to understand it, there are reasons to be enamored by finding a way to do as such.
The truth impacts us, them, and everybody, today, and tomorrow.
People need and deserve dignity, and respect. The future can be blessed - by people of all kind trying to find ways to work together in a positive way.
Diligence, forbearance, empathy, and most certainly
love.
Here/'/s a quote from Oliver Wendell Holmes:
"When I think ... of the law, I see a princess mightier than she who wrought at Bayeux, eternally weaving into her web dim figures of the ever-lengthening past – figures too dim to be noticed by the idle, too symbolic to be interpreted except by her pupils, but to the discerning eye disclosing every painful step and every world-shaking contest by which mankind has worked and fought its way from savage isolation to organic social life."
We are, all of us are, the exotic princess who stands before us, regarding history, regarding making sense of truth and justice. We are the people, we are the hope, our own inspiration, we who inherit, we who inhabit -
they are us, and we are them.

Peace!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
