I once met a butterfly Her wings were so bright So colorful and lovely And every day she would find me And flutter onto my shoulder One day I was waiting for her Instead there came a wasp She buzzed around my head And I batted her away And then she stung me On my ear and my nose Then on my shoulder Where the butterfly once sat I swatted again And she buzzed away And away down the road I then met and Imp She saw me and she giggled At the bumps on my ear And on my nose and shoulder I asked her "what is so funny" She giggled again Then leaped onto my shoulder And buzzed in my ear Then she turned into a butterfly And fluttered away
