A wish to be humble but humble I cannot be Raging fires burn within the tantalizing you just cannot see
A good man I am a good man I always was But the anger within does what it does
So many factors that cause me to be this way I served my country now have a huge price to pay
Had I gone off to college instead of going to war I might not have so much pain and have a hunger for so much more
It is what it is I dont regret to serve I just hate all of this anger and pain I certainly dont deserve
I fight the fight I deal with life each and every day I share a smile while I slowly fade away
To all of my fellow Veterans who share this fight with me May God bless you all and may God hear our humble plea
