They cry out to be heard
They wait and listen
For an encouraging word
Silent whispers deep within the mind
Only to distort and corrupt
They too turn unkind
Love is just an open gate
That leads one to a world of hate
Betrayal and mistrust
Turns lust to dust
I/'/m only human
Born from the earth/'/s crust
When my time comes
My voice will be silenced
Back in a hole I/'/ll go
None will be the wiser
None will ever know

| I feel like i can really relate to this. After so much betrayal our minds tell us to expect it which leads to strong hatred, but that/'/s whats natural for human kind. That/'/s what i got out of this anyway. Good piece |
