I was caught in my lies on this night
so I/'/ll fight it with all of my might
I will get in your face
swing my fists like a mace
and if i win, it means i was right

A delight!
There is a Japanese proverb that supports your premise: When two men argue, the first one to strike a blow has run out of intelligent ideas!
Were it not for the time we spent considering options, we would have taken that swing, and blown the planet off it/'/s axis long before now.
Your cautionary message is timely. Let us not lose the ability to remain calm in the storm.
The rhythm of your words are the sugar that sweetens the message the we could easily otherwise choke upon. Your delivery is perfect!
