10-02-2018.
My Quill is Cracked and dry. My ink put is empty. There are no words on my papyrus sheets.
I lie awake and ask myself why? Thoughts and feelings I have plenty. My heart skips not a beat.
Creative juices flows through my eyes. Yet words now are not plenty. I long so to write something sweet.
But I fear it will be a lie. And the truth would not be worth a penny So empty for now remains my papyrus sheets.

This is great! To complete a poem about not being to write is great in my eyes. Enjoyed it very much.
Thank you,

You wrote a poem to say you. could not write a poem!
Its elizabethan theme is SWEET as you say, and you have written with tenderness and purpose.
I would venture to say you have nothing to worry about!
Better to wait and write well, than to ramble to fill an empty page. Poetry is a conversation -- gaps of silence are naturally occurring!
