Mad

Whispers emanate from walls of my skull, echoing in the room; giving voice to shadows, hidden in heavy gloom, lurking on sights edge, stalking every hall. I hear so clear their footsteps fall in still and silent air; each step on the stone floor as clear to my ear as knocks on a solid wood door. Stomach jumps higher in my chest with every step heard as they close around me; huddled in a corner nowhere to flee. I tremble as madness takes full hold of me.

I feel this and envision it as well.
Sad and desperate but well done! |
