My eyes play tricks in the night; sitting in a dark room, light streams under the door, upwards it fades into the dark. Phantoms waltz across the floor; and o/'/er the stream their foot falls fade into the light, appearing dimly as they slowly twirl back into the dark of night. So slight, the visibility of their shapeless silhouettes, I strain to see the lovely dancing illusion before me.

Ghostly flickers of whispy illusions often come to escort us off to sleep. This is a Netherland you speak of, where reality is being suspended and we are slowly lowered into the coma of dreams.
A bit spooky with the light under the door! Is something coming in or going out?
Yikes. Chilling little read to think over! Thank you!

corneal perfumes
gases leaving freely
dancing in closed
room for time
a photon like
all the rest
hoping to leave
their mark
the dark room
exposes the light
onto film
I have a digital
camera
and still I
view each clip
in a dark room
the black darkness
of the room
and
the light
likeness
of rhododendron
that coexist
with her
special smile
I like it.
Peace! |
