I always fought
trying not to be
cynical
this lonely
one it feels
left alone
to tend
the garden
that was
never to
be won
for any
single
person,
or any
one group,
oh, to be
enlightened,
to be apart
of the newest
renaissance
that would
include
every part
of this

anew
it must
of come
from some
where else,
close by
