Let no bell toll when in quiet peace I lay encased by six walls of polished pine. Let me drift unannounced into worlds beyond pain and shadow; in serenity unending where I go to find the secret of life beyond life, and if such truly is.

You raise a curious unsolvable secret! The only way to discover if there is life after death, is to die.
We got the short end of that deal!
My favorite line is LET ME DRIFT UNANNOUNCED INTO WORLDS BEYOND PAIN AND SHADOW. Let us hope we all do so!

Well, Im morbid. I really like:
//I lay encased
by six walls of polished pine.//
Lovely! :)
I also like the curious tone of your words, and that you dont talk in absolutes, yet you leave the reader hoping for a place devoid of pain and shadow. Well done!
