Isnt it Time
Suns been setting quick,
Grey hairs been rising fast;
Isnt it time
I drop back to the past?
Isnt it time I cool my feet again
And splash against a stream bed ankle deep?
Isnt it time I climb the scenic hill
Before the flowers fade and fall asleep?
Isnt it time I see the lightning strike
The golden prairie hair?
Isnt it time I walk the gravel lane
Before its paved with city tar?
Isnt it time to recollect
About the good, bad and in-between?
I think its time to find
The days of youth, when I would dare to dream.

who would not think
this at any age.
